Wow!

Wow-

This week has been so crazy already. I found out yesterday that I have also been accepted into the Texas Tech School of Nursing. Whew! Well, but I have made my mind up that I am just going to stick with South Plains College though because I have already done so much with them and that is the school that I really wanted to attend anyways. God is amazing and for those who don't believe I pray for them. Hope everyone has a wonderful week:)

Acceptance

What is Acceptance?

The act of accepting; a receiving what is offered, with approbation, satisfaction, or acquiescence; esp., favorable reception; approval; as, the acceptance of a gift, office, doctrine, etc.

So Monday morning I reached in my drawer at work to find my cell phone vibrating. I did not recognize the telephone number, so I had a weird feeling that I needed to answer the call. So as I answered the phone it was South Plains College offering me a spot in the August RN nursing program. I jumped on it! I have been really praying and asking God what he wanted me to do with this situation and that I was leaving it in his hands. So, today I went and am enrolled and had to go take a drug test. I will begin classes starting on August 30th. Thank you LORD!

OH MY GOSH!!!!!!

So, today I look at my phone around lunch time and have a text from my mom. She has texted me a picture of my little NEPHEW. His little profile is so precious. Anyways, I get the picture then when I get back from work, I have a voice mail and missed call from my sister. She had a Dr. appointment this morning and was calling to tell me the news. She is dilated to a 1 and the baby is about 8lbs. OMG!!!!! So I may be an aunt really really soon. Yipeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!

There's a new Sheriff in town!

Hey-yo all!!!! Announcing the new Sheriff of the Roberson household, Brenden Hearrell Roberson. We have been searching and searching for him a pair of cowboy boots and we have found the perfect pair. He loves them!!!! We got them Monday evening and he has wanted to wear them everyday since. We put them on him and Daniel and I started laughing because they were not called his "Boots", but they are his "Boobies". LOL! Also, he is a pro at the bow-legged cowboy walk. I will have to shoot a video of that. So if you are ever around the Roberson woods, watch out, because Sheriff B-Bop is one tough Cowboy!

New Time Change

So I have seriously come to the realization that time change and the Roberson family do not go hand in hand. I want to take naps every minute, I don't want to wake up in the mornings, and I just want to lounge around instead of be active. Brenden has not been copping well with it either. I am finding that we lay him down at his normal bedtime which is between 7:30-8:00pm only to find that he is waking up at 1am to get in bed with Daniel and I. I know that I shouldn't give in to him and put him in bed with us, but I fear that if I don't I am going to wake Meagan up and she will not have gotten any rest. Any ways, blah blah blah!

Today!

So today I log on to read the updates on my sisters blog and I am in tears after reading it. My brother-in-law made a post titled me and God. This was in summary a post that he made in regards to what he and Jamie want for their unborn son. Gosh!!!! After reading this I feel terrible about my relationship with God. I have not been faithful in attending church and making sure that Brenden knows God. I know that no one is perfect, but I have to realize that what I want for myself, I should also want for Brenden. Daniel and I both know who God is and what he is capable of. But does Brenden? We as a couple need to become more faithful in our worship with God. My new goal is to make sure that I myself challenge my worship independently, and secondly, challenge Daniel in his worship. Last, I want to make sure Brenden gets involved.

Thank you Shawn for opening my eyes. You and Jamie are such an inspiration to me. I love you both:)

Change on B's update:(

Well I had to go pick B up from daycare due to him running 103 temp. Poor toots I just really want to take his pain away.

Update on B-Bop!

So B is back at daycare today. He didn't have a great night last night, was restless and cranky, but did not need us to wake up and give him motrin or Tylenol. Wheww!!

So this afternoon I called the daycare and asked how B was doing. She stated that he has only eaten yogurt so far today and drank some milk. But, she did say that he has not wanted to keep his pants on today, so she has let him just run around in his shirt and diaper. Cracks me up:)

Poor Toot's is sick:(

Well, B is sick today. We were up most of the night to him crying and running a fever of about 100-103. Poor little Booger, I wish that I was the one sick and not him.

This past weekend just flew by. I did however get to see my sister and that was so much fun. Jay, I really enjoyed our time together.

Today!

Today is a new day! REALLY? Daniel and I worked so hard last night to get our computer room cleaned out so that Meagan can move in with us on Saturday. Did we really have as much junk as we found? The answer to that question is "YES." We are so going to have a major garage sale and sell all the stuff that we have not used in the past year. We think we do that every garage sale, but in actuality we don't. Anyways.......I am so ready to get my house completely cleaned so that I don't have to worry about crap laying around and our house looking like one of those on like Oprah or Dr. Phil were they have a special team come in to fumigate your home cause it is so bad. I am really exaggerating here but our house is the last thing that Daniel and I think about after we get home from work and school.

I am getting so much closer to Nursing school. Can it please hurry:) I am registered for my last semester of pre requisites at Wayland and I take the Nursing entrance exam on Friday February 12. Go ME!!!

Ok so it is already February. CRAZY!!!! Winter weather is over and I am so ready for the hot weather to roll in. So I just registered for my last semester of Prerequisites, and take my TEAS (nursing entrance exam) on feb. 12th. So cross your fingers that I pass so that I can start nursing in August.

HELLO!!!

SO woke up this morning and was getting ready as usual. Daniel was in the shower so I put Toots in there with him. When they finished I got Toots dressed and let him stand up on the toilet seat while I finished my hair and brushed my teeth. I look over and Brenden has my Jeregen's self tanning lotion bottle and he says "MINE". I responded with no that is Mommies lotion. He nicely put it back on the shelf, but then grabbed a different bottle and was making the "Pshspsh" noise, like he was spraying it on himself. Gosh I love these times!

Welcome 2010!

Welcome to 2010!! This is going to be the start of another amazing year for the Roberson family. Not only did Brenden turn 1, but I, Randa, am on the road to a nursing degree. Daniel is still with Wellsfargo, and is going strong. Brenden is at an at home daycare and loving every minute of it. He is growing like a weed and is a really smart little TOOT. Raider and Lady are growing by the minute as well. Raider is the size of a miniature horse and Lady is well still Ditsy!!! I am going to really strive to keep this updated so that the family can stay up to date on what is happening with all of us. Hope your year goes as well as ours is!!
